Student blogging friends – stubc08
A new blog has been created for students to continue the friendships they began in the blogging competition. A teacher and their class(es) will be in charge of the blog for a two week (fortnight) period.
In that time, students from that class can add posts for other student readers to comment on and/or write posts about on their own blogs. This will be similar to the blogging competition but without the reward at the end. It will be more a blogging challenge than competition.
The first post for the blog will include the names of the students who won most improved and keenest bloggers in their classes according to their teacher and students. These students will also be on the sidebar blogroll. An adapted version of the participants page will also be added – students who did not take part regularly will have their names removed from the list by their own teacher.
Interested teachers will be given admin rights and they can add students as authors or editors as required when posting. Teachers will also be in charge of moderating comments.

Maybe you should have a student award for a special student who has worked hard and deserves and award. Because it isn’t fair if 1 student is against heaps of adults right?

The new blog is just spectacular and 2009’s comp will be terrific, I’m sure. Though I have to see if I have time to participate since in High School things change!
About the blog.. it is great! You’ve done a brilliant job making it and thanks to Max, he has come up with the wonderful title of “Together” which is exactly what I was thinking before I typed my comment. Well done on making the blog a Spot On Site this year!

After a little rest!!! I am ready to go again. I hope I can extend my skills and knowledge this year and can excite my class even more to use blogging, its so much fun.
Thank you for your teaching, patience, guidance and support last year. You got me off and running, now I hope to build on that.

It does have a webcam and a microcphone build into it. I have already used the webcam during the hoildays, my cousin and I taked to one of her friends.
