Week 9 – Last chance to shine

This week is the penultimate week of the challenge.  It is your last chance to shine in front of your teacher (who might be assessing you for blogging), your class mates and your readers around the world.

This week’s challenge involves research of one of the topics below.  You must find at least two relevant websites or blogs on the topic that you can link to and include at least two images with attribution.

In your post, you must mention why you chose this topic and what relevance it has to your life as well as information you found interesting about the topic.

The year 2008 has been declared the International Year or Decade of the …….

  • International Year of the Reef 2008
  • International Year of Languages 2008
  • International Year of Sanitation 2008 (World Water Council)
  • International Year of Planet Earth 2008
  • International Year of the Potato 2008
  • Year of the Scout 2008
  • United Nations Decade for Education for Sustainable Development 2005-2014
  • United Nations Decade to Roll Back Malaria 2001-2010
  • United Nations International Decade for Action: Water for life 2005-2015
  • United Nations Literacy Decade 2003-2012
  • Next week is the last week of the challenge and will involve you assessing yourself and your blogging over this last ten weeks.  You also need to think about what might happen after next week … just think this week and add your thoughts to my post next week.

Hi, I’m a scout from America so I think I’m going to do the Year Of Scouting. I’ll compare it to some big scouting events in America I think. Good luck on your posts everyone!

Sorry to be the only answer now, but thank you for your comment! Yes I have favorite singers like Brandi Carlile, Jason Mraz, GREENDAY and many more! … As I said in the text, I like all kinds of music and their respective singers!
