Students! What does blogging mean to you?
I have just visited the Edublogger written by Sue Waters and she has written a great post about sharing your blogging experience. She is asking teachers to give hints to new teachers who are just starting blogging.
So can you please share with us:
- Why you blog? How does it benefit you or your work?
- How you use blogging with your students and how it has helped them (if applicable)
- Examples of class and/or student blogs for them to check out
- What are your 3 most important tips for educators, new to blogging, who would like to blog with their students?
Now in our school, we have five new blogger teachers; some blogging for themselves and some beginning class blogs. What hints would you give them about blogging with students? Think about the questions above and anything else you feel teachers should know when blogging with students. Either answer here in the comments or write your own post about it and link to both this post and the one Sue Waters wrote.

To me blogging means we can learn to be internet savvy. Other teachers haven’t used computers with us nearly as much as we have this year.
Blogging is really good, and I like it how you let us do B.T.N and some assignments on our blogs instead of in our books.

To help teachers and students who are blogging I would suggest that they comment on other peoples blogs regularily so they will comment back on your and you may even get a place in there blog roll!

Well I like blogging because, well it fun to talk to people from all over the world for free and to be Internet savvy for the future. when we get inploid they will sreach you on the Internet.
It’s good that we get to do are B.T.N reports on are blogs aswell like Lkgirl said.
It’s going to be fun when we use the wordle to find out what the most commen word we use in this post.
Blogging is a great way to talk to people so for the people in Miss. W’s class keep you blogs after this year don’y leaf them floting in the Internet.

TIPS:
1.choose a theme you like rather than just because it has a tagline
2.try to check comments as often as possible
3.try to create as many posts as possible

I blog because I like to talk to other people and it helps my work because I can do it at home not just school.
The 2 next questions I did not understand.
I think that 3 things teachers should do is get there students stuck in it.
Get family to visit and leave comments for the students to read.
After a while get there students to write a post and get a blog.

Blogging is very enjoyable experiance and I now know how to be internet safe.
I enjoy it because you to interact with people from other people of the world.
But it is very demanding and you have to be on your blog all the time.

I like blogging because you can meet new people when they comment on your blog and writing topics on your blog that you like. I get lots out of blogging like improving my typing skills meeting new people and getting comments from people from all over the world. hints for people who are getting a blog is to have lots of ideas for posts know your ABC and know who to be inernet savvy.

I enjoy blogging because its a great way to do work like BtN and also its alot of fun. What I get out of it, i get to talk to people all over the world and you can express yourself.. New teachers to blogging should show their students how to be internet safe..

i think blogging is good because i get to learn lots of new things like how to use a blog and i get to meet lots of new people.
for the teachers learning i sugest you learn how to put hyperlinks and put widgets on your blog. also put lots of posts on before you get your student to start.

I think bloging is fun. but u have to go in to your blog do stuff and look at stuff. and it can get a bit annoying sometimes.and if u need help or if u don’t have any creat to get help. u can send a coment.

I can do my work on my blog so that is great too!
I think my three most needed tips are:
-To always be internet savvy.
-Write interesting posts.
-Comment on others peoples blogs so they can get back to you!
I like blogging because I learn more about other people. watch the videos about internet safety before blogging with your students.

well i dont have my own bolg,it dosent mean that much to me. But it is cool going on to other peoples blogs and chers should be internet saftey befor having a blog.To all the new teachers out there have a fantastic time bloging.commenting and ther cool games.all the new teacher.

A couple of tips I would give teachers who are teaching and/or learning about blogging is to keep internet savvy, dont click on spam and never ever use your first and last name in any thing!!!!!!
blogging has helped me alot beacuae before this year I didnt even know what being internet savvy was.

I think blogging helps us to become internet savvy and to be more aware of what we put on our blogs.
It is more interesting to write a blog post than write in your book because others can leave comments that you can sometimes learn from.
Be very aware of what you put on your blog because anyone and everyone can see it.
